For adventurers and explorers we have always been fi ghting for each millimeter of pack size and each gramme of total weight. However, in everyday live or on small trips the equipment of people often is still inappropriate.

For this reason, we have created a professional equipment for everyday life with extremely small pack sizes under the label “Companyon“. The weight of Passion sleeping bags or ultra-light-weight clothing is hardly noticeable. Almost weightless they provide for a comfortable body climate and feel soft and silky.

THE TECHNOLOGY INSIDE

The Next to Nothing Technology among others means that:

for all Companyon products we are processing the currently lightest and most exclusive materials.

Thus, the downproof rip-stop nylon fabric weighs just 25 grammes per square metre. The secret of lightness is based on the 1,000 kilometres yarn holding the downs together. This yarn has the size of a twentieth of a human hair, these 1,000 kilometres of yarn weigh only 140 grammes.

LIMITED EDITION

In all over the world, there are just five weaving machines available who can manufacture such a fine material. All these machines can be found in the North of Japan. Each of them produces only 35 metres per day. Only about 1,000 kg of this crystal-down quality can be gained per year.

For this reason the delivery quantity of Companyon products is limited.
