The success of your trip may well start with your sleeping bag. It is an important piece of any outdoor-baggage. That is why it is important that the sleeping bag matches a customer‘s individual requirements.

Cut, sorting and marking, preparation of accessories, stickers, composition of filling and outside material, finish, adding the filling to the sleeping bag, sewing and quality control.

The NEXT TO NOTHING TECHNOLOGY among others means that for all Companyon products we are processing the currently lightest and most exclusive materials. Thus, the downproof rip-stop nylon fabric weighs just 25 grammes per square metre.

The secret of lightness is based on the 1,000 kilometres yarn holding the downs together. This yarn has the size of a twentieth of a human hair, these 1,000 kilometres of yarn weigh only 140 grammes.

Nevertheless, the airy fabric proves astonishingly tearproof. And it guarantees that Companyon products are waterproof, wind-resistent and breathable. In the Passion-One sleeping bag for instance, 35,000 downs with a diameter of about 4 cm make sure that your body is always well tempered. Fluffed up to 690 grammes with just a few more downs, you will survive in it even a night of up to minus seven degrees centigrade.

Limited edition

In all over the world, there are just five weaving machines available who can manufacture such a fine material. All these machines can be found in the North of Japan.

Each of them produces only 35 metres per day.

Only about 1,000 kg of this crystal-down quality can be gained per year.

For this reason the delivery quantity of Companyon products is limited.
